Job Title: Head of Sales
Reports to: General Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Purpose:

  • To provide the strategic framework for OneCard Product Sales.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of the OneCard Commercial Strategy, Strategic Sales Plan and embedding sales principles and practice across the organisation and Pan Nigeria

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for agreed sales / income targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and implement an effective sales strategy, including a monitoring and delivery strategy.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales delivery plan
  • Lead and coordinate the nationwide sales force to achieve set targets
  • Ensure follow up on a daily/weekly and monthly basis to ensure sales targets are being achieved by sales team as well as analyze sales report on a weekly basis
  • To oversee the effective use of field sales tracking/reporting application
  • Recruit and manage trade partners nationwide
  • Regularly review trade partners performance and ensure retention
  • Develop a channel penetration strategy that effectively distributes the products nationwide
  • Develop and clearly map out “Route – to – market” plan per market per region to ensure availability and visibility
  • Ensure effective monitoring and mentoring of the team by the regional and state managers
  • Perform market research and analysis and use same to provide valuable insights and recommendations
  • Maintain regular field visits and effective implementation of planned promotional activities.
  • Prospect, negotiate and close agreements with large customers
  • To lead on building internal and external relationships to fulfill the organisational vision of being the ‘go-to’ organisation for top up solutions in the country.
  • Schedule and attend appropriate meetings and events on behalf of OneCard
  • Any other relevant task commensurate with the level of the role and as requested by your line manager or Chief Executive.

Ideal Candidate (Qualification, experience, skills and attributes)

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • MBA, MSc or equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 7 years experience 3 of which must be in a sales leadership role
  • Experienced sales leader with successful track record in managing large sales teams
  • Dogged
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and critical thinking skill
  • Retail and corporate product experience
  • Great presentation skills
  • Proven results in previous employ
  • Proficient use of Microsoft office packages

Salary Range: Senior Manager
N300,000 – N450,000 (Guaranteed & Performance based)


Job Title: Business Development Officer
Reports to: Head of Sales
Location: Lagos
Job Purpose:

  • Manage OneCard corporate product portfolio
  • Drive sustainable financial growth through effective sales strategies and forging strong relationships with clients

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, negotiate and close agreements with large customers
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
  • Contacting new and existing clients and establishing rapport
  • Developing proposals and quotes for clients
  • Conducting market research and gathering important business intelligence
  • Identifying and driving new opportunities
  • Attending meetings, conferences and industry events
  • Relationship management with business partners and service providers

Ideal Candidate (Qualification, experience, skills and attributes)

  • Bachelors degree
  • 2-3 years work experience in similar role
  • Must be confident, fun, friendly and business savvy
  • Demonstrated achievement in sales generation (B2B and consumer)
  • Track record of being able to successfully complete a full sales cycle of customer identification, acquisition and retention
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation ability
  • Analytic, good with numbers and able to develop sales strategy and plan
  • Strong personal brand and charisma
  • Great networking skill
  • Excellent business etiquette and professionalism
  • Ability to multi task and work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel out of station
